Definition of Symbiosis - Symbiosis is a reciprocal relationship between the two living side by side. The word comes from the Greek symbiosis that is sym meaning with, and BIOSIS meaning of life. Symbiosis is a pattern of close interaction between two organisms of different species, while the symbionts is a term for living things that do symbiosis.
